I've had a passion for art and crafts since childhood, which deepened in high school when I joined the yearbook staff. My first experience with layout design, photography, and story-telling during that time was pivotal, inspiring me to pursue a Graphic Design degree at Seton Hill University.
With over 28 years of experience in creating award-winning communication design across print, web, digital, and exhibit platforms for a variety of clients, including government agencies, non-profits, and corporate, I currently serve as a Lead Designer at Leidos supporting the Office of Justice Programs Communications Services contract for the Department of Justice. I help contribute to their mission of sharing vital information on funding, training and technical assistance, research and statistics, and other critical resources to strengthen community safety, access to justice, supporting crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, and build trust between law enforcement and communities. It’s rewarding to know that my work on many publication designs, social media marketing campaigns, event branding, and more can make a positive impact on the community.
As a lifelong learner, I’m committed to keeping up with the latest design trends and techniques to ensure my work stays fresh and relevant. My skills with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and MS Office, combined with a solid understanding of design principles, empower me to create visually captivating and effective designs that truly resonate with audiences. I love the challenge of problem-solving and seeing my ideas come to life.
When I’m not busy designing, you can find me exploring Hyrule in my favorite Zelda adventure, getting lost in a good book, enjoying music and podcasts, baking or playing board games. Also, I am obsessed with basset hounds! Their velvety, floppy ears, snuggly nature, and goofy antics never fail to bring a smile to my face—there’s never a dull moment with them around. I’ve also been involved in basset hound rescue, helping with transportation, home visits, and providing graphic support.
